Terri Lynn was flagging on a construction site in the Moncton area. Terri Lynn had stopped traffic; a vehicle was “rear-ended” by another vehicle, causing the stopped vehicle to hit her. Terri Lynn had just finished her second year at university. She was a special young lady. She loved her family and had many friends. She especially loved children and had a part-time job working at the playground area at a mall in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where she attended university. Terri Lynn’s goal was to be a teacher.

In Canada, workplace fatalities claim roughly 1,000 lives every year. Thousands more suffer from serious injuries and illnesses. And every one of those deaths, injuries and illnesses has a devastating effect on family members, friends and co-workers.
