Lyle went to work in construction with his Dad that summer. On July 26, 2001, a tripod fell on him and killed him almost instantly. “With love, hope and joy, we remember Lyle, who at the young age of sixteen, tragically lost his life at the construction site of the Provencher Bridge in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Lyle will always be loved, missed, remembered and treasured.

In Canada, workplace fatalities claim roughly 1,000 lives every year. Thousands more suffer from serious injuries and illnesses. And every one of those deaths, injuries and illnesses has a devastating effect on family members, friends and co-workers.
